Pitch is kind of a dick okay
Who: Mostly Joe West but if your character has an excuse to be around I don't even care join the party LET'S BE FRIENDS
What: Jack Frost is a strong independent frost spirit don't need no nursea.k.a. he has a bump on his head and a detention slip in his pocket and is being a pissy baby about it by trying not to tell anybody
When: Backdated to opening day, but later in the evening
Where: Joe West dormitory. Catch him in the bathrooms, or sneaking around the halls, or later possibly in room 603
Warnings: Rose says to be sure your character was ICly at the academy if you post here since the log is backdated. Also a wee bit of blood and one small-ish bruise is involved.
Nurse? Psh, Jack didn't need to see a nurse. Except maybe for his wounded pride.
He reached up, tentatively pressing a finger to the bruise on his right temple, and saw himself wince in the mirror in front of him. Yeah, definitely tender. If anybody looked close enough, the purple mark stood out vaguely in the shape of a delicate (Nightmare's) hoof, and there were at least a few spots where the skin had broken and oozed blood, though by now it had mostly dried.
He didn't actually intend for anybody to look close enough, though. He'd just as soon let it heal and not have people asking questions about what in the hell he'd done to get that on the first day.
Irritated - maybe with himself, or maybe with the turn of events that had somehow placed the Boogeyman at the school as well - he crumpled up the pink slip of paper in his hand and stuffed it in his pocket. He didn't want to think about it right now. Instead he sat down on the edge of the bathroom sink with a washcloth and tried - emphasis on tried - to clean the cuts off a little with warm water.
That stung too much, though, and would eventually frustrate him enough to give up, at which point he'd pull his hood tight over his head and duck out of the bathroom into the hall, trying his best to go unnoticed for once and make his way to his room.
Screw it, it'll heal itself.

"You mean...this floor?" "I live here too, but yeah, I'm a student, I don't...teach."
no subject
"My goodness! I guess it is this floor! I'm afraid that I'm still getting used to everything."
Without warning, Giselle reached out and took Jack's hand. She held it firmly, but kindly. "As one of the students here, I just want you to know that I'm here to help you, whenever you need it. My door will always be open. Except, perhaps, when I'm sleeping."

He also definitely felt some warm fuzzies on the inside. So. Warm and fuzzy. But still confused.
"I...thanks." He smiled at her, really genuinely grateful for the offer even if he didn't really know what to make of her. "I'll keep it in mind. Really."
no subject
"Oh no! Oh dear! That didn't happen just now, did it?"
no subject
"No, no, it's fine, I already had this - seriously, unless you have a pair of hooves under that dress, I'm pretty sure there's no way this could've been your fault."
no subject
She looked back up at Jack, eyes full of concern. "What happened? How did you get such and awful mark?"
no subject
Okay, maybe it wouldn't be that bad telling her, as long as he didn't tell her a lot. He sighed.
"I just got in a little...er, disagreement with somebody. Nothing big. It's fine now."
no subject
"Someone hit you!?" Giselle looks truly horrified at the idea. "Who was it? Someone should talk to them right away!"
no subject
Big smile. "Please?"
no subject
"We shouldn't allow violence among the people here, not when there's so much more to worry about!"
She paused and looked Jack over, focusing on his face and his injury. "I suppose I can leave it to you this time, but if you get into any more trouble like this....please let me know.
no subject
So he smiled at her, and he lied through his teeth, hating how easy it was to do it. "I'll let you know. Promise."
no subject
"Good. Thank you," she said as her spirit began to pick up again. "I don't want any of my students getting hurt if I can help it."
no subject
"I'll....do my best. Scout's honor. No more injuries for me," He said, as he awkwardly attempted to shuffle around her, giving a mock salute. "It's off to bed where it's safe for me now."
no subject
"That's a very good idea. Get some rest and recuperate."
