[In a wide open hall with banners and a various sundry of celebratory items, the headmaster's rousing speech begins to come to a close.]

In short, you all are here to save our world! There is a threat out there that we must face, but we cannot face it alone. [His demeanor is pleasant, but thinly veiled. His stress is evident in his words, but he is attempting to stay cheerful.] We must do our best to watch over our friends and family and neighbors, no matter who they may be.

We are all responsible for one another. [He lets the silence hang for a moment before letting off and overly cheerful--] HaHa! [Was that a bit forced? Or was it just me?]

Well, guys, it’s time for me t’go, got lotsa stuff to take care of bein’ headmaster and all. But please, get to know one another, go check out classes, and find out where you live on campus! [He gestures to various sections of the room, all labeled with bright colored papers and text.]

I’ll see y’around!

[And with that, the headmaster is off! No, seriously. Watch him go, he’s movin’ fast for such a short guy.]

[ Don't mind him, he's just sitting over here on the table where you picked up your rooming assignment - on the table - with a folder of his own in his lap. He may or may not have also leaned over and snuck a peak at said rooming assignment and decided that since she's so shocked by the roommate factor he's gonna be a troll now. ]

I know, right? Weird. You gotta wonder who it could possibly be.

[ Said oh-so-casually, as he holds a conspicuous piece of paper in his hands. ]

Just think, it could be anybody in this entire room!

[ Sliiiiding that piece of paper casually across the table. For absolutely no reason. No reason at all. ]

They could be right next to you and you'd never know. Crazy, huh?

[ Just. Staring up at the ceiling. Whistling. And twiddling his thumbs. Don't mind him, don't mind him at all. ]

[ He gives a crooked half-smile, resisting the urge to laugh. ] Jack Frost, right? I might know the guy. He is a guy, though, I gotta warn you. Not sure that was supposed to happen, but it did, so I guess you're stuck with it now, huh?

Funny enough, I think my roommate might be a girl. [ He picks his slip of paper back up and wags it around. ] Some Merida. Does that sound like a girl's name to you? Because it sounds like one to me.
