Where: Just inside the Academic Building

[In a wide open hall with banners and a various sundry of celebratory items, the headmaster's rousing speech begins to come to a close.]

In short, you all are here to save our world! There is a threat out there that we must face, but we cannot face it alone. [His demeanor is pleasant, but thinly veiled. His stress is evident in his words, but he is attempting to stay cheerful.] We must do our best to watch over our friends and family and neighbors, no matter who they may be.

We are all responsible for one another. [He lets the silence hang for a moment before letting off and overly cheerful--] HaHa! [Was that a bit forced? Or was it just me?]

Well, guys, it’s time for me t’go, got lotsa stuff to take care of bein’ headmaster and all. But please, get to know one another, go check out classes, and find out where you live on campus! [He gestures to various sections of the room, all labeled with bright colored papers and text.]

I’ll see y’around!

[And with that, the headmaster is off! No, seriously. Watch him go, he’s movin’ fast for such a short guy.]

[While Jasmine had listened to the headmaster's speech with pursed lips, stiff spine, and concerned visage, the posture and expression didn't last terribly long after Mickey took his direction to exeunt. After all, the danger wasn't here now, and though she had her responsibility as a princess to uphold, it didn't mean she couldn't bask in her new-found freedom.

Thus, faced with completely new surroundings and the actual ability to move place to place as she pleases, she takes the opportunity to explore the building. Curious, she peers at all the papers on the doors and peeks in through the tiny windows, taking in her new place of residence. However, being so focused on the building and rooms themselves doesn't bode well for moving about the halls with other people.

It isn't long until she bumps into someone.]

Oh! R-really, I'm terribly sorry.

[Oops.]

[ Oh please, it's tough not to! Rapunzel's not really watching where she's going, rather wrapped up in her room assignments, she's found herself in the wrong building entirely. ]

Oh! No, it's fine, I wasn't really...uh, watching.


...Sorry, but, could... could you maybe help me find where this is?

[That's a lot of hair.

Jasmine stares for a moment, though she quickly tries to shake herself from gawking. Ahem.]

I'd be happy to. Which building are you looking for?

[She steps a little closer, even daring to sneak another peek at the locks.]

It's fine.

[Astrid brushes her hands over the front of her uniform (which is something she believes will take a while to get used to), a slight frown peering out from under her bangs. She then lifts her chin, casting a dubious glance over the girl before her.]

Though a word for the wise, keep your attention focused on where you want to go instead of everywhere else at once. Works wonders.

[Jasmine doesn't care much for the girl's advice, though she knows her first day is hardly one to pick a fight or draw too much attention to her prideful, royal nature.]

[Or, yanno, brush it off entirely.]

[Astrid purses her lips, planting a fist against her hip.]

Please do. Other people probably won't be as friendly as I am about it.

[Because her stance and curt tone really scream 'friendly'. Good job making a good impression on the first day Astrid.]
